UPDATE: We have ourselves a winner! Mirror Lake will kick off BuzzFest for us on Saturday, September 4!
Formed in 2017, Mirror Lake are a Post-Hardcore/ Alternative quintet fronted by vocalist Avery Jean Clay, with members Eli Rodriguez, Brian Mertz, Walter Lemus, and Mark Delgadillo. They included this note on their sound and growing up attending BuzzFest in their submission:
"We take an arrangement of powerful vocals, and blend it with heavy melodic instrumentals to create an emotional and unique sound. Growing up in North Houston and attending Buzzfest at the pavilion time and time again makes this opportunity that much more special and that much more exciting. We feel we can genuinely offer a hard hitting and entertaining experience, that fits the vibe of the already incredible lineup. Since our vocalist Avery was young she wanted to play both this stage and this festival."
