Flea Cast In Brad Pitt Movie “Babylon”

Flea has nabbed his next movie role. The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist has been cast alongside Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in the movie “Babylon.”

The film is set in 1920s Hollywood, directed by Damien Chazelle who won a Best Director Oscar for “La La Land.” It’ll reportedly be an R-rated film based around the time silent films pivoted to “talkies.”

So far, no word on who Flea will be playing.

Travis Barker, His Kids Filming Hulu Show With Kourtney Kardashian

Soon, we’ll be seeing more of Kourtney Kardashian’s romance with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The Kardashians have a new show coming to Hulu, and apparently, Travis is involved.

A source tells “Us Weekly” that Travis and his teen kids Landon and Alabama are filming for the new show. We’ve been telling you that things aren’t going well between Travis and his ex Shanna Moakler – the supposedly “absent” mother of his children – since he started dating the Kardashian. We’ll have to wait and see if any of the drama makes the Hulu show.

"Nowhere Generation", Rise Against. This is their ninth album. If you hadn't heard, Mayor Lori Lightfoot just proclaimed June 4th as "Rise Against Day" in Chicago.

"Soberish", Liz Phair. This is her seventh album and her first in 11 years. Can you believe it's already been 18 years since her 2003 hit "Why Can't I?"

(Liz Phair will be supporting Alanis Morissette in a world tour later this year.)

"Hardware", Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.  This is his third solo album.

"Dreamers Are Waiting", Crowded House. This is their seventh album. You'd know them from their 1986 hit, "Don't Dream It's Over".

"Blue Weekend", Wolf Alice. This is their third album. They were on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" a few weeks ago performing their single, "Smile".

"All the Colours of You", the British rock band James. This is their 16th album. Their 1993 song "Laid" was used in the "American Pie" film series.

Prince's estate released a "new" track called "Born 2 Die".

Pearl Jam & Smashing Pumpkins Confirmed For Sea.Hear.Now

Asbury Park, New Jersey’s Sea.Hear.Now the festival has confirmed that they will go on as planned this year with headliners Pearl Jam and The Smashing Pumpkins. The fest, set for September 18th and 19th, will also feature The Avett Brothers, Billy Idol, Patti Smith and her Band, Patti Scialfa, Matt & Kim, Grouplove and more. 

The festival will mark Pearl Jam’s first performance in three years. The last time they hit the stage was in September 2018 at Boston’s Fenway Park.

“To have Pearl Jam playing on the beach in Asbury Park is just incredible. This has been a long time coming for us,” the festival’s organizer, photographer Danny Clinch, tells Variety. “To have it [postponed due to the pandemic] last year was really painful, but we’re so grateful to them and all the other artists on the lineup to have stuck with it.” Check out the full lineup and schedule below:
