Mike Patton From Faith No More Explains Why He Peed on Axl Rose's Teleprompter

Faith No More singer MIKE PATTON peed on AXL ROSE's teleprompter when they opened for Guns N' Roses and Metallica in 1992.

Mike said, quote, "It was such a drag touring with [GNR], I hate to say it. They treated us like [crap]."

Mike said he and his bandmates were looking for something messed up to do every day. Once, he took a chocolate cake from the backstage catering table and put HIS OWN POOP inside. (???)

Mike said, quote, "And then we watched because I was hoping like, ‘Oh, maybe Axl Rose will eat it.'" Unfortunately, a crew member picked it up, so Mike had to step in before he could eat it.

Looking back, he blames "youthful stupidity" for his disgusting antics. (Not "Epic" at all, Mike . . .)

Chris Daughtry Covers Temple Of The Dog’s “Hunger Strike”

Chris Daughtry has teamed up with Sevendust singer Lajon Witherspoon to pay tribute to the late Chris Cornell. The rockers have released a cover of Temple of the Dog’s song “Hunger Strike.” Chris takes on Cornell’s parts while Lajon sings Eddie Vedder’s lines.

“Chris Cornell is one of the defining voices that grabbed me by the heartstrings and made me want to be a rock singer. ‘Hunger Strike’ is one of, if not the most iconic rock duets of our generation. It’s the whole ’90s wrapped up in one song!” Daughtry says. “Doing this song with Lajon, one of my favorite humans I’ve had the pleasure of calling friend and brother means the world to me!”

Proceeds from the song will benefit the hunger-relief organization Feeding AmericaCheck it out to the right.

Jason Newsted Insists He Won’t Be Joining Megadeth

Since David Ellefson was booted from Megadeth, there’s been speculation that former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted could take his place. But fans shouldn’t hold their breath, he’s piped up to shoot down the rumors.

Jason’s name has been thrown around online as a potential Megadeth replacement, and apparently, word has finally reached the rock veteran. He’s not on social media, so his wife Nicole has responded instead… and she says it’s not happening.

“Hi, guys! Two things: 1. Jason is not joining Megadeth. Peace to them. Listen to metal,” she writes on Instagram. “2. Jason does not have social media accounts… If you are receiving DMs from the Jason Newsted music account or any other account claiming to be Jason please know this is not Jason, and proceed at your own risk.” Check out the post below.
