Amazon Installed "ZenBooths" for Its Warehouse Workers and Immediately Got Mocked
Would you want one of these at work? Or would you rather keep hiding out in the bathroom when you need a break . . .
Yesterday, Amazon announced a new feature in its warehouses called "ZenBooths," where workers can go to get away when they feel overwhelmed. And they immediately got MOCKED for it online.
Each one is about the size of a porta-potty. And the inside is supposed to be calming . . . but basically looks like a tiny office with a few small plants.
There's a computer with pre-loaded "AmaZEN" videos about mindful meditation and mental health. And there's also a small fan . . . which is probably the most useful item in there.
People online immediately labelled them "CRYING BOOTHS." And Amazon deleted its tweets about the program. It's not clear if they're keeping the booths or not.
