Budweiser Launches ‘Summer Patriotic Cans’
A lot of Americans enjoy a cold beer over the Memorial Day weekend and Budweiser has stepped in with three patriotically themed cans featuring stars and stripes and red, white, and blue designs inspired by the American flag to help celebrate.
In addition, the first four lines of the U.S. national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner” are on every 12-ounce can. What’s inside the cans remains the same: – traditional Budweiser lager. As for the limited-edition cans, they’ll be sold throughout the summer in singles and packs of 12 to 36 cans and from May 31st (that’s Monday) until August 9th.
But it’s more than just a promo: for each of those packs sold between Monday and July 4th, Budweiser will donate $1 from every case sold to Folds Of Honor, a nonprofit that provides scholarships to “spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service-members.”
- Folds of Honor awards up to $75,000 per recipient and has already helped out over 29,000 military dependents across the nation with over $145 million in scholarships.
