A Man Didn't Want His Girlfriend Moving In, So He Burned His House Down
If you're having second thoughts about a significant other moving in with you, there are many ways to deal with it. For one, you could . . . talk it over.
But there's a guy in Clearfield, Utah . . . just north of Salt Lake City . . . who had a MUCH more dramatic plan: He SET FIRE to his own mobile home, so that there was no place to move into. (???)
He's a 29-year-old named Jordan Berghout, and when the firefighters showed up and saw the place ABLAZE, they asked him what happened.
He said something like, "I know exactly how the fire started . . . I started it . . . because things with my girlfriend have not been going well . . . and if I burned down the house, I'd no longer have to worry about her moving in."
Unfortunately, Jordan didn't just burn down his OWN home, he also caused significant damage to the place next door. Luckily, it doesn't sound like anyone was hurt.
By the way, Jordan also told police he was addicted to meth and that he's heard voices that have told him to harm himself or others. He was charged earlier this week with aggravated arson, a first-degree felony.

A Drunk Couple Got Knocked Out During a Line-Cutting Brawl at a Water Park
America is open for business again this summer, which means we get to see THESE stories again . . .
A drunk couple at a water park in Sandusky, Ohio got into a BRAWL last week after someone tried to cut in line. And BOTH of them ended up getting knocked out.
Police say 23-year-old Brittany Cabay and 24-year-old Zack Colzin were heavily intoxicated when the fight started. It's not clear if THEY cut in line, or if someone else did. And we also don't know who threw the first punch.
But there's footage of Brittany trying to hit a guy who basically BODY SLAMMED her, and she nailed her head on the pavement. Then Zack got knocked out when he attacked an EMT and hit HIS head on the ground.
Once he woke up, he also punched a cop, and then got tased and arrested. And they arrested Brittany too.
She's facing charges for aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. He's facing even more charges, including assault on a peace officer, assault on an EMT, and resisting arrest. And he had a warrant out in Michigan for stealing a car.
The guy who body-slammed Brittany might also be facing charges.
