The Hottest Music Beef of 2021: Smash Mouth Vs. Travis Barker?
SMASH MOUTH hasn't been relevant for their MUSIC in forever, but whoever runs their social media has been working like an ALL-STAR. (???)
Here's the latest: Smash Mouth's Twitter just took a shot at TRAVIS BARKER, which would've been a big deal 20 years ago . . . maybe.
Travis has been critical of bands like Smash Mouth for playing gigs during the pandemic, calling it "disrespectful." It wasn't a direct knock-on Smash Mouth . . . just bands in general.

And now, Smash Mouth is poking fun at Travis's current romance with KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN, which is all over the tabloids.
They said, quote, "Not used to Travis Barker having a full time publicist (Kardashians) trying to keep him in the 24-hour news cycle. Glad you got Kourtney a 'lavish gift' for Mother's Day. LOL." (They're talking about this.)
They later added that they DON'T have beef with Travis, they just think it's funny that he's in the Kardashian world.
(Of course, it's worth pointing out that Travis had a reality show of his own BEFORE the Kardashians. "Meet the Barkers" premiered on MTV in 2005. But no one kept up with the Kardashians until 2007.)
Marilyn Manson & Wife Accused Of Silencing Alleged Victims
More is coming out about the abuse allegations against Marilyn Manson. The rocker and his wife Lindsay Usich are being accused of silencing his accusers.
“Metal Hammer” has profiled a trio of women who claim the singer’s wife has tried to silence them, saying people who speak out against Marilyn online face threats and intimidation. Laura, a woman who started the MansonIsAbusive Instagram account dedicated to connecting the dots of all the allegations, says she considered giving up the account due to constant bullying and attempts to “discredit” her. But she says Marilyn’s own ex-girlfriends would message her with encouragement, so she kept going.
“Lindsay talked a lot about IP addresses and how she knew my location and stuff, but I don’t really think she ever did,” Laura claims. “She always tried to scare me.”
