Billy Eilish is on the cover of British "Vogue" in a Gucci corset and skirt, and in her interview, she predicted she’s been criticized for her new, sexy look, and she wasn't wrong.
Several folks took to Twitter to blast Billie, with some calling her a “sell-out” and others blaming her record label for it.
o“Is showing your body 'empowering' or did Billie Eilish not have enough fans or attention when she wore baggy clothes,” one wrote. “I know labels are behind @billieeilish new girly sexy look, I like the baggy Billie tbh..”
Another added, “She finally sold her soul, don't expect her to go back to baggy stuff now!... proof that money can make you change your values, another sell-out.”
In Billie’s Vogue interview she talks about the inspiration for her new song “Your Power,” noting, it’s "an open letter to people who take advantage – mostly men."
"I don't know one girl or woman who hasn't had a weird experience, or a really bad experience," Eilish said about sexual misconduct and abuse of power, admitting that she experienced it too when she was younger.
She didn’t name names but insists it wasn’t someone in the music industry.
"I really think the bottom line is, men are very weak," she added. "I think it's just so easy for them to lose it. 'You expect a dude not to grab you if you're wearing that dress?' Seriously, you're that weak? Come on! Go masturbate!"
