A Guy Test Drove a BMW to a Bank, Robbed It, Then Tried to Use the Cash to Buy the BMW
They DO say when you test drive a car, you should see how it would work for the things you like to do day-to-day.
There's a 50-year-old guy named Eric Warren from Wolfforth, Texas. And back in the summer of 2019, he went to a car dealership to test drive a BMW.
They let him try it out solo. So he test drove the BMW to a bank . . . and ROBBED the place. He pulled out something that looked like a gun, demanded $10,000, and then took off.
And he headed straight back to the dealership . . . to use his new cash to buy the car.
But while he was doing the paperwork, the cops called the dealership to let them know one of their cars was at the scene of a bank robbery that just went down. The staff connected the dots and kept Eric there until the cops showed up.
He was in court this week and pleaded guilty to a bank robbery. And he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
(Here's his mugshot.)

A Church Official Who Embezzled $150,000 to Spend on Porn Sites Said It Was Charity to the Site's Performers
This is definitely a new one.
There's a 56-year-old guy named Glenn Yothers from Unity Township, Pennsylvania. And he's been the treasurer at his church for the past 12 years.
Well . . . a few years ago, the church's bills were so far behind that their utilities got shut off. And when the other board members looked into the finances, they found at least $150,000 was missing. That's when the police got involved.
It turns out Glenn had embezzled that money over the course of the years . . . and spent most of it on a webcam porn site called Flirt4Free.
But when the cops confronted Glenn, he tried to explain that what he did wasn't stealing . . . he was donating the money to CHARITY. Because you see, he was giving the money to the performers on the site to help them out.
He was arrested this week and charged with theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking.

A Cop Asks for a Guy's I.D., and He Pulls Out a Bag of Weed Gummies Instead
Check out this guy's-photo online. I'm pretty sure he was STILL high as a kite when they took his mugshot . . .
40-year-old Demecio Lopez almost crashed into a gas pump at a Circle K station in Naples, Florida last week, and someone called the cops.
When police showed up, he claimed his car wouldn't start . . . then said he didn't have the keys . . . then realized he DID have them, and they were just in his pocket.
And when they asked to see his license . . . he pulled out a bag of MARIJUANA EDIBLES instead. (They're still illegal in Florida unless they're medicinal.)
First, he tried to claim they were just regular candy. But the cop saw "cannabis-infused" on the label . . . and the brand name was "Dank Gummies."
After that, Demecio claimed they were his girlfriend's, and that she got them legally because she has cancer. But it's not clear if that's true, or if he even has a girlfriend.
They eventually found more edibles, along with a bag of cocaine. He's facing several drug charges.
