Women Of Marvel's WandaVision: Lookin At Girlzz Spotlight

The Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to Disney+ with this weekend's premiere of WandaVision, so let's take a closer look at some of the lovely ladies populating the show's weird classic sitcom reality.

Elizabeth Olsen

The show's titular "Wanda", Elizabeth Olsen plays Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch. She made her first appearance as the character in a post-credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and has gone on to play her in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. She will be back on the big screen next year in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Outside of the MCU, Olsen is best known for 2014's Godzilla and the 2018 Facebook Watch series Sorry for Your Loss.

Kat Dennings

The Two Broke Girls star is back as Darcy Lewis, her character from Thor and Thor: The Dark World. Darcy was last seen helping Thor and Jane Foster save Earth and Asgard from Malekith and the Dark Elves. No explanation has been given for how she fits into WandaVision.

Teyonah Parris

Previously best known for roles in Dear White People and If Beale Street Could Talk, Parris plays Monica Rambeau. The character was last seen as an 11-year-old in Captain Marvel. Since that movie was set in the 90s, she's all grown up in the present day Marvel Cinematic Universe. Rambeau is a superhero in the comics and has gone by the names Captain Marvel, Photon, Pulsar, and Spectrum. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has said that introducing Monica Rambeau is key to WandaVision, so it seems likely that she will be joining the ranks of the MCU's super-powered heroes.

Kathryn Hahn

You know her face from all kinds of stuff...Parks and Recreation, Step Brothers, Bad Moms, and her HBO show Mrs. Fletcher. Hahn plays a nosy neighbor character named Agnes in WandaVision, lots of fans seem convinced that Agnes is actually classic Marvel villain Agatha Harkness.
