Costco Is Selling a Gigantic, $800 Bottle of Champagne for New Year's

This really ISN'T the New Year's Eve to be passing around the biggest bottle of champagne you've ever seen.

Some Costco warehouses have started selling GIANT bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne. (Pronounced vuhrv klee-koh.)

The bottle is six liters, which is more than one and a half gallons. And it's going to set you back $830.

That's actually a pretty bad deal. A regular 750-milliliter bottle of Veuve sells for $60 at Wine.com.

So it would cost you $480 to get the same amount of champagne as Costco is selling for $830. You're REALLY paying for the giant bottle gimmick.

Popeye’s Launches New Chocolate Beignets Nationwide

Popeye’s may be known for its fried chicken, but the chain is now serving up Chocolate Beignets nationwide after a market test in Boston and Baltimore. Not familiar? Beignets are basically deep-fried fritters but in this case? They’re stuffed with melted Hershey’s chocolate, covered in powdered sugar, and come in three sizes – three for $1.99, six for $3.99, and a dozen for $7.49 (so snarfing them on the go probably isn’t the best idea).

Popeye’s is also launching limited-edition “Beignet Camo” hoodies to “camouflage the inevitable mess.” The hoodies are black with white splatters that look like powdered sugar will be sold at ThatLookFromPopeyes.com for $35 plus tax, shipping, and handling.

These Are The Healthiest Holiday Appetizers, According To Dieticians

During the holidays it’s really easy to overindulge in all food, including appetizers like cheese balls and dips, but there are healthy and unhealthy choices when it comes to these pre-main meal items. Here’s a list of 10 that are lighter in calories, fat, and sugar but still come with great taste, according to leading dieticians:

·Spinach and Artichoke Dip – has the creamy texture everyone loves, plus the addition of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from the spinach and artichokes. Go for a dairy-free version of a cheese-free dip.

·Cheese Board – Parmigiano Reggiano is high in protein and can be combined with rainbow carrots, marinated artichokes, roasted red pepper, and fresh green beans for dipping.

·Veggie Stuffed Mushrooms – mash chickpeas with your favorite seasonings and some tahini and stuff small portobellos and bake to your desired texture.

·Pistachios – Pistachio stuffed dates are a great alternative to wrapping them in bacon and fat. Pulse salted, shelled pistachios in a food processor or bullet blender and stuff the paste-like texture into pitted Medjool dates.

·Shrimp Cocktail – a great way to add significant protein to your appetizer spread and offers immune-supporting nutrients like zinc, selenium, and healthy fats

·Roasted Veggies – low in calories and high in fiber and are filling without being loaded up with additional calories

·Mini Meatballs – try turkey meatballs for a healthier protein choice

·Chicken Skewers – chicken is a lean protein that is super satisfying and can keep you full. Dunk it in peanut sauce to load up on more healthy fats.

·Veggies and Hummus – use raw vegetables for the crunch instead of chips—carrots, peppers, cucumbers, and celery go great with hummus which has protein and fiber.

·Smoked Salmon Cucumber Bites – a solid, low-calorie option that looks great on the plate and the salmon provides protein. This one’s a win-win.
