Beyond Meat To Debut ‘Extra Juicy’ And ‘Lean’ Varieties in 2021
Beyond Meat is adding a couple of plant-based products next year. Even though there aren’t official names, the new products are being touted as the “brand’s juiciest patty” and the “most nutritious patty yet”—for now just think of them as “Extra Juicy” and “Lean” to make it simple.
If you consider Beyond Meat’s regular version to be standard ground beef, the “Extra Juicy” is similar to 80/20 blend and the “Lean” is comparative to a 96/4 beef blend. The “juiciest patty” still has 35% less saturated fat than 80/20 ground beef and the “most nutritious” form has 55% less saturated fat than 80/20 ground beef.
If this sounds good to you, a tasting event had been set for Los Angeles later this year, but it already sold out. Either way, you can expect to find these new variations in stores in early 2021.

How To Help With Thanksgiving Dinner If You’re Not Cooking
Thanksgiving is almost here and as much as we love the bonding time with loved ones, this holiday is all about the food. But even if you’re not a great cook, or you’re just not in charge of the meal this year, there’s still plenty you can do to contribute. These are some ways to help the person in the kitchen that don’t require any culinary skills. Like how? Like this:
·Clean the house- No matter how many people are taking part in your turkey day gathering, you’ll want to celebrate in a clean house. If you’re not on kitchen duty, help the host out with the cleaning and you can get the kids to pitch in, too.
·Decorate- Make things festive with some holiday decorations, like a wreath on the door, gourds and leaves on the table and candles. And if the kiddos made Thanksgiving crafts, don’t forget to display those.
·Do the shopping- Just because you’re not cooking doesn’t mean you can’t go to the grocery store for your chef. Have them give you a detailed shopping list and hit the supermarket to save them the trip.
·Set the table- Your Thanksgiving feast will feel even more special with the perfect table setting. Whether it’s casual with just plates and napkins or more formal with napkin rings, place cards, china and crystal, offering to set the table can be a big help.
·Amp up the ingredients- Treat the person cooking your feast to some gourmet ingredients as a gift. Things like flavored finishing salts, black garlic, raw honey or truffle oil are sure to be a hit.
·Entertain the kids- If you’re not cooking, help keep the little ones busy with games, crafts and outside activities because the last thing a cook needs is kids running around the kitchen.
·Take care of drinks- Set up a bar or beverage station with something for everyone, maybe a festive holiday cocktail, like spiked apple cider, as well as beer and wine, coffee, sparkling water, and juice or soda for the kids.
·Do the dishes- After preparing and serving a big meal, the cook shouldn’t have to clean up. So roll up your sleeves, pack up the leftovers and wash the dishes.
·Take photos- We all want good photos of our holiday gatherings, so take on photographer duty for the day and capture the memories for everyone.
