September 18 is National Cheeseburger Day, and McDonald's will celebrate by offering $0.50 double cheeseburgers.

99% of McDonald's restaurants have been opened for drive-thru, carry-out and delivery, serving communities across the country with enhanced safety precautions.

It's National Cheeseburger Day! And a new survey found they're one of the top things we're eating more of during the pandemic.

People were asked about different comfort foods, and if they've been eating them more often this year. And burgers are second on the list. Here's the Top 10 . . .

1. Pizza. 55% said they're eating it more often.

2. Burgers, 48%.

3. Ice cream, 46%.

4. French fries, 45%.

5. Mac-and-cheese, 39%.

6. Potato chips, 39%.

7. Cookies, 38%.

8. Chocolate, 37%.

9. Cereal, 34%.

10. Fried chicken, 34%. The survey also found 85% of us have gained weight this year. About six pounds on average.

Halloween Candy Sales Are Actually Up This Year?

Trick-or-treating is going to look different this year. But it seems like a lot of people have taken that to mean . . . great, I'll just buy all this candy and eat it myself.

According to the National Confectioners Association, Halloween candy is selling BETTER this year than it did last year.

Sales are up 13% over the same time last year . . . and Halloween chocolate sales are up 25%.

They also ran a survey that found 80% of people say they're trying to figure out, quote, "creative and safe" ways to celebrate Halloween this year.
