Nikki Sixx Talks New Collab With Corey Taylor, Slash & More Coming Friday
Nikki Sixx has something epic in the works. The Motley Crue bassist is teasing an upcoming star-studded collab in store for his band Sixx:A.M.
Taking to Twitter, Sixx tells fans to mark their calendars for Friday, announcing something – we’re thinking a new single – called “Maybe It’s Time.” The teaser image lists some of your favorite rockers, like Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Ian Moody of Five Finger Death Punch,Awolnation, and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott.
Sixx:A.M.’s last album “Vol 2: Prayers For The Blessed” came out back in 2016, so they’re due for new release. What’s worth noting is that the 2016 album included a song called “Maybe It’s Time.”

Kurt Cobain’s Daughter Frances Blew Through $11M Inheritance
Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain admits she blew through her $11-million inheritance before getting sober and getting a grip on managing her money. Until then, the Nirvana legend’s daughter says she was used to “living beyond your means.” It took Frances “stepping away” from that type of lifestyle – plus getting sober – to realize that money isn’t “permanent, no matter how much you think you have.” Frances was just two when Kurt died, left a trust that gives her around $100K per month... and her relationship with money is complicated. Frances says the inheritance feels like a “big, giant loan I’ll never get rid of,” something she “didn’t earn” that comes from someone she “never met.”
But after getting sober, she’s taking “real accountability” for her money and has cut back on her spending – like ditching the luxury UberXX’s for a regular ride. “I’d like to say that within the last two years I have taken real accountability for every single thing,” she says. “Talking to the people in charge of my money and having in-depth meetings as well as recognising that you don’t have to live lavishly in order to live well.

Jack White Auctioning Off White Stripes Memorabilia
Jack White is auctioning off a bunch of White Stripes memorabilia. The rocker’s Third Man Records is giving fans a chance at items from the band’s glory days, along with more stuff from their archival collections.
Items up for sale include Meg White’s crash cymbal, some of Jack White’s guitars including his original Triple Jet prototype, and even the iconic drum kit from the White Stripes’ “Hardest Button to Button” video. Check out the items for yourself HERE.
The auction kicks off August 26th at 10am ET, running until August 30th at 10pm ET. A portion of the auction’s proceeds will benefit the John Peele Centre, Gideon’s Army, and the Detroit Phoenix Center.
