Food: What are The Most Popular Super Bowl Party Foods

What are The Most Popular Super Bowl Party Foods

With the Super Bowl just a couple weeks away, it’s time to talk about the most important part of any celebration to watch the big game: the food. The staff at The Daily Meal voted on their favorites and came up with their top 10 must-have Super Bowl party foods.

10) Deviled eggs - Football fans seem to like this classic party food.

9) Nachos - The combo of chips, melted cheese, guac, salsa, meat, and beans is always a crowd-pleaser.

8) Pigs in a blanket - Love for this kid-friendly dish is something you never outgrow.

7) Potato skins - You can’t go wrong with the classic: cheddar cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives, or you can get fancy with brie and prosciutto or chorizo, or any other combination you like.

6) Guacamole - It’s simple, full of flavor, and people love it.

5) Seven-layer dip - The only thing better than guac, is layering it with refried beans, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and scallions for this dip.

4) Pizza - Super Bowl Sunday is the busiest day for American’s favorite pizza chains and it’s perfect for feeding a hungry crowd.

3) Spinach artichoke dip - Chips and dip are an important part of any Super Bowl party and the spread wouldn’t be complete without this one.

2) Buffalo chicken dip - Same goes for this creamy, zesty dip.

1) Chicken wings - They’re a favorite food for football fans so make sure your Super Bowl Sunday includes wings and you’re good to go.

Busch Beer Is Giving People in Seven States Free Beer for Every Inch of Snow

I'm not sure people in places like Fargo, North Dakota need a reason to root for MORE snow than usual this winter, but here you go.

Busch Beer just announced a new program where they'll be giving FREE BEER to people in seven states . . . all based on the amount of snow they get this winter.

They're tracking the total inches of snow through the end of March in seven cities: Des Moines, Iowa . . . Grand Rapids, Michigan . . . Minneapolis, Minnesota . . . Fargo, North Dakota . . . Omaha, Nebraska . . . Buffalo, New York . . . and Green Bay, Wisconsin.

And they'll give people in those seven states a $1refundon Busch beer for every inch of snow. So if Minneapolis gets 20 total inches of snow over these three months, people there can get $20 back. That'll buy you a good amount of Busch.

They are capping it at $30 total per person, though . . . so I guess root for exactly 30 inches of snow and not ONE inch more?

Pink Easter Egg Oreos Are Coming In February

It’s still the middle of January, but Oreo is already ready for spring with their new pastel cookie. Starting next month, pink Easter egg Oreos will be hitting shelves. They look to be Golden Oreos that are colored pink and decorated like Easter eggs and we only have to wait a few more weeks to try them.

To tide us over, Oreo’s Most Stuf cookies will be back in stores on January 20th. Like the name tells us, these are the Oreos with the most filling, followed by Mega Stuf, Double Stuf, Original Stuf, and down to thins.

Which one is your favorite? The cookie company wants to know your opinion and if you share it on their website, you’ll be entered to win $100,000, just for doing your civic Oreo duty by voting.

Taco Bell Gives a Guy a Free Taco . . . but He Pulls a Knife Because He Doesn't Like the One They Gave Him

This guy is a true poster child of CHOOSING BEGGARS.

A 39-year-old guy named Octavious Hodges went into a Taco Bell in Falmouth, Virginia on Monday and tried to order off the dollar menu . . . but he only had 70 cents.

One of the employees felt bad, and gave him a taco for free.

Well, as Octavious was unwrapping it, he got upset over the TYPE of taco they gave him. And he pulled a KNIFE on the staff . . . and even lunged at a few employees.

Then he took off running, but a police dog caught him in a field nearby.

He was charged with attempted malicious wounding, disorderly conduct, assault, and obstruction of justice.
