Woman Builds a Bomb in Walmart Out of Random Products

A 37-year-old mom in Tampa is facing charges after she built a small BOMB out of stuff she pulled off the shelves at Walmart, and tried to set it off in the store. Luckily a security guard and an off-duty cop stopped her. A reporter talked to her boyfriend about it. Apparently she called him from the store before it happened, and threatened to blow the place up if he didn't give her money.

A Librarian Pleads Guilty to Stealing $8 Million of Rare Books Over 25 Years

This may not be the most successful crime ever, but odds are it was the QUIETEST.

A librarian at Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh just pled guilty to stealing more than $8 MILLION worth of rare books over the course of the past 25 years, then fencing them through the owner of a bookstore.

63-year-old Greg Priore worked as the archivist and manager of the library's rare book room. And back in 1992, he started stealing books and working with the owner of Cailban Book Shop Warehouse, 45-year-old John Schulman, to sell them.

The scheme was busted in 2017 when the library audited its collection and found there were 300 items missing.

The most valuable book wasIsaac Newton's" Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica" worth $900,000. All in, the items Greg stole were worth $8,066,300. And most of them have not been recovered.

Greg pled guilty to two felonies, theft and receiving stolen property. John pled guilty to receiving stolen property, theft by deception, and forgery.

That sounds serious, but they could get as little as PROBATION, or as much as 16 months in prison when they're sentenced in April.  (Here's a picture ofGreg, and here's one ofJohn.)

Cops Bust a "Large Amish Party" and Make 38 Arrests

Well, at least we know no one at this RAGER was going to get in their car to drive home drunk afterwards.

The cops in LaGrange County, Indiana got several noise complaints about a party over the weekend, and reports of underage drinking.

And when they went to check out the party, they found it was a, quote, "large Amish party."

There were more than 250 Amish people there, just tearing it up, Rumspringa-ing their hearts out . . . and all of them tried to run when the cops came.

The cops managed to arrest 38 people total, including 24 underage drinkers and 15 adults. They're mostly facing charges of minors consuming alcohol or contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
