Metallica Disturbed/Deftones And More Set For Epicenter Fest

Metallica promised to headline five big shows next year in the United States, and the lineup for one of those fests has just been revealed. We now have the lineup for Charolette, North Carolina's Epicenter Festival. It all goes down May 1, 2 and 3 at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.

Metallica will headline the Friday and Sunday night events, playing two completely different sets. Disturbed will headline the Saturday event and the weekend will also feature performances by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deftones, Godsmack, Volbeat, Staind, Papa RoachDavid Lee Roth, Gojira, Chevelle, Cypress Hill, Rancid, Royal Blood, Anthrax, Dropkick Murphys, I Prevail, Alter Bridge and many more.

Billboard's editorial staff put together a list of the 100 greatest albums of the 2010s . . . and as usual, it seems to mostly cover pop and hip-hop. 

"My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" by Kanye West is #1, followed by "Lemonade" by Beyoncé is second. (I'm going to let them finish, and I'm happy for Kanye, but "Lemonade" was one of the best albums of ALL TIME!) (???)

The Doobie Brothers announced a 30-city North American tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band’s founding.

Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, and John McFee, will be back on tour together for the first time in nearly 25 years. They made the announcement at the conclusion of their performance Monday night at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Michael McDonald took to the stage during the band’s encore and gave a surprise performance of "Takin’ It To The Streets," then Pat made the big announcement.
