This Monday, November 11th, is Veterans Day and restaurants across the country will be honoring our heroes with free and discounted menu items. Here’s where veterans and active duty military personnel can score deals, just be sure to bring proof of military service since many of them require it.

·Applebee’s - All veterans and active-duty military members can come in on November 11th for a complimentary entree from a special menu.

·California Pizza Kitchen - Vets and active duty military can score a free entree and a drink on November 11th.

·Cracker Barrel - They’re giving veterans a slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a Pumpkin Pie Latte on the house on Veterans Day.

·Denny’s - All active and retired military personnel can come in from 5 a.m. to noon on November 11th with a valid military ID to get a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast.

·Dunkin' - Vets and active military members get one free doughnut of their choice on Veterans Day.

·Fogo de Chão - The Brazilian steakhouse if offering 50% off the entire meal for veterans and active duty personnel plus up to three guests all weekend long (Nov 8th through 11th).

·Golden Corral - Free dinner buffets on Veterans Day to anyone who is currently serving or has served in the U.S. military, including the National Guard and Reserve.

·Hooters - Veterans and active-duty military who come in on November 11th will get a free entree from the Hooters Special Veterans Day menu, featuring six of their most popular entrees.

·Olive Garden - On November 11th, they’re offering a free meal from a special menu to active-duty military members and veterans.

·Red Lobster - Veterans, active duty military and reservists with a valid military ID who come on November 11th can score one free appetizer or dessert.

·Romano’s Macaroni Grill - They’re serving up free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti this Veterans Day to vets who show their military ID or proof of service.

·Sheetz - Active military personnel and veterans can get in on two specials here on November 11th: a free meal and a free car wash.

·Sizzler - From opening until 4 p.m. on Monday, veterans with proof of military service can enjoy a chicken, steak, or shrimp dinner and a beverage at no charge.

·Smashburger - Vets and active duty military get a free Double Burger with any other menu purchase on November 11th.

·TCBY - Show your military ID or proof of service on November 11th to get six-ounces of frozen yogurt for free.

Here's a Rundown of the Deals Available to Our Military for Veterans Day

Veterans Day is on Monday, so here's a rundown of all the restaurants, stores, and websites offering deals for veterans and active military personnel . . .

1. Restaurants. A ton of restaurants are offering free food, including Applebee's . . . Buffalo Wild Wings . . . CPK . . . Chili's . . . Cracker Barrel . . . Denny's . . . IHOP . . . Golden Corral . . . Red Lobster . . . and Red Robin.

2. Coffee and donuts. Starbucks is offering free coffee for veterans, active duty service members, and military spouses on Monday. And Dunkin' Donuts is offering veterans and active duty military a free donut on Monday.

3. Great Clips. Anybody who gets a haircut at Great Clips on Monday will get a free haircut card to give to a military member of any branch, including the National Guard. And veterans who visit a salon on Monday will get either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card redeemable through December 31st.

4. Retail stores. Kohl's is offering a 30% discount on purchases now through Monday. Home Depot and Lowe's are offering a 10% discount. And Target is giving a 10% discount on one purchase in stores and online through Monday.

5. Amazon. They're offering current military and veterans $40 off the regular price of Amazon Prime through Monday. That's $79, compared with the regular price of $119. And it works even if you're already a Prime member.
