Music: Kurt Cobain's Sweater Being Auctioned Off Again & Never Been Washed

Kurt Cobain's Sweater Is Being Auctioned Off Again, and It's Never Been Washed!

For the second time in four years, the green cardigan that KURT COBAIN wore for NIRVANA's"MTV Unplugged" episode is going up for auction.

It's expected to sell for around $300,000, with a starting bid of $50K. The current owner, an anonymous businessman, kept it stored in acid-free tissue in a safe. This person bought it at auction in 2015 for $137,500.

If you have a ton of money to blow on something like this, you might be wondering what physical condition it's in.

Well, I don't know if this will gross you out or excite you, but it's NEVER BEEN WASHED!

The auction house says, quote, "It's very important that we don't wash it. The stains are still there. There's even cigarettes burns that you can see on the sweater."

He didn't elaborate on the stains, which is probably for the best.

Ozzy Osbourne Says He's "Bored Stiff" of Being Bedridden, but He's "Not Dying"

OZZY OSBOURNE posted a video saying that he's still recovering from a bad fall earlier this year, where he "screwed up all the vertebrae" in his neck.

He said he's "bored stiff" of being bedridden, but he's, quote, "not dying," and "not retiring."

He IS canceling a European tour he had scheduled for January and February, but he's hoping to be well enough to honor the dates he has planned in the U.S. Those begin in May.

(There's UNCENSORED PROFANITY in the video.)

Can Listening to an Entire Album Boost Your Mood?

Saturday is "National Album Day," which is something that actually exists apparently.

For anyone under the age of 25, "albums" are collections of songs . . . kind of like playlists . . . except the songs are all released at the same time, usually by a single artist.

Anyway, a British study has been released claiming that there's a strong link between listening to full albums and positive mental well-being.

It quotes a recent survey where 82.9% of people said listening to albums helped them relax . . . 76.4% said listening to albums can make them feel better if they're feeling down . . .

74.3% said listening to their favorite albums is a source of comfort . . . and 64.7% said they listen to their favorite albums when they feel like they need a lift.

Overall, people said that eating a favorite food was the most helpful way to boost their mood. Reading was next, followed by listening to an album, exercising, watching a movie, watching TV, gardening, and taking a nap.

(If you're a musician, you're probably rolling your eyes right now. 83% of people say they LOVE the experience of listening to whole albums???)
