Rumor Claims New Coldplay Album Coming Next Month
Coldplay fans' wait for new music may soon be over. A new report claims the band is planning to release an “experimental” record next month, with another more “mainstream” album expected sometime next year.
A source tells the “Daily Star,” “The first album is the more experimental side of Coldplay, they probably won’t tour until 2020 when the next one arrives.”
If true the new album will be Coldplay’s first full-length album since 2015’s “A Head Full of Dreams.

Patrick Carney from the Black Keys Really, Really Hates the Grammys
News Flash: Not all artists are in it for the awards. PATRICK CARNEY from the BLACK KEYS went off on the Grammys in a recent interview. (Even though the band has five of them.)
He said, quote, "None of my favorite bands have [effing] Grammys. The Clash don't have [an effing] Grammy . . . Does anybody watch this [stuff] that really cares about us? I don't think so."
Pat is especially glad that "Lonely Boy" didn't win Record of the Year in 2013 because, quote, "It could have [effed] our whole band up. I've seen it happen with lots of bands. You become playschool level.
"We wouldn't have changed, but the thing is, you start acquiring a fan base that's more fickle and maybe more annoying."
("Lonely Boy" did win Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance . . . but apparently those aren't the BAD Grammys?)

Some people think pop has had its day at the Super Bowl, and it's time for something a little heavier. Like DAVID DRAIMAN from DISTURBED, who made a public bid to sing the national anthem this time around.
Now he's getting support from another heavy hitter, COREY TAYLOR from SLIPKNOT.
He Tweeted, quote, "It's long overdue for rock and metal to be represented at the Super Bowl. Let's make our voices heard in support of our brother David Draiman of Disturbed and let the NFL know we want him to sing the anthem."
