There's a New Video Game Where the Goal Is to Date a Young, Sexy Colonel Sanders

As far as fast-food marketing stunts go, this is definitely one of the weirder ones.

KFC has created a new video game called"I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator".

In the game, you're classmates with a young, sexy . . . but still gray-haired . . . anime-style Colonel Sanders at culinary school. And the entire point of the game is to try to date him.

Quote, "Through your journey, you'll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love. But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters' feelings at stake."

The game says it has, quote, "multiple hours of play-through . . . a secret ending . . . secret recipes . . . cooking battles . . . and [the ability to] earn a degree from a fictional culinary school."

If you're interested . . . although I'm not totally sure why you would be . . . it'll be available for free for Windows and Mac computers in two weeks.

Brussels Sprouts Gin Now Exists

Despite the fact that they’re pretty tasty, Brussels sprouts always seem to be singled out as the grossest vegetable around on TV shows and movies. But one distillery isn’t believing the hype and actually created a Brussels sprout-flavored gin.

Pickering's Gin in Edinburgh, Scotland sells six-packs of flavored gin in Christmas ornaments that come with about a shot of booze inside and now along with less questionable flavors including cranberry and spiced pear and cinnamon, they’ve got a Brussels sprouts one. And believe it or not, their first batch of the veggie-flavored gin is almost sold out already.

Smelling Lemons Won't Make You Skinny But It Will Make You Feel Thinner:

If you've ever wanted to feel like you lost weight, have we got a new study for you. Researchers at the University of Sussex in England found that smelling a lemon makes us feel thinner, and ups our self-esteem even though it doesn't actually make us lose weight. People who sniffed a lemon felt thinner, lighter, and better about their body while smelling the scent of vanilla did the opposite. It made them feel heavier and more out of shape than they really were. It has to do with how our brain associates different smells with various other things. When we think of lemons, we think of freshness but when we think of vanilla, we think of things like cookies and ice cream that aren't good for us. Researchers think it might be useful for people with eating disorders, who have issues with body image. Previous studies have shown that certain sounds can do the same thing. When researchers changed the pitch of people's footsteps, they felt thinner, happier, and even changed the way they walked. But this is the first study to show smells can do it too.

Scientists Have Found a New Way to Get Kids to Eat Vegetables . . . An All-Out Vegetable Overload

Here's the latest strategy in the never-ending battle between parents and kids over vegetables.

A study out of Australia found you can get your kid to eat more veggies by . . . OVERWHELMING THEM with vegetables.

They had some parents give their kid one vegetable on their plate . . . and some give their kids lots of different vegetables on their plate. And they found that the kids with lots of veggies wound up eating twice as much as the other kids.

They also found that after three months, the kids who got lots of veggies had developed more of a taste for them and kept eating larger portions.
