It's Official: Robert Pattinson is the New Batman 

It's official: ROBERT PATTINSON is your new Batman. Warner Brothers has confirmed that he'll star in the upcoming movie"The Batman", which is thankfully NOT going to be another origin story.

Director Matt Reeves, who stepped in after BEN AFFLECK bolted, calls it a "defining" and "very personal" story about Batman, if that means anything to you. It's due out in June of 2021.

Affleck was originally supposed to both direct AND star in the movie.

Fox Almost Did Its Own "Avengers"-Style Marvel Movie in 2011 

Now that Disney owns Fox's movie properties, they control just about every Marvel character there is. But back in 2011, things were different. 

Marvel had"Captain America: The First Avenger"in theaters, and was building toward the first"Avengers"movie. And Fox almost did something similar with the Marvel characters that it had control of.

An"X-Men"writer says he and another guy actually wrote a script for a huge Marvel mash-up that included theX-Men, theFantastic Four,Daredevil, and evenDeadpool. For whatever reason, it just never happened.

And it should be noted that this was before RYAN REYNOLDS made those"Deadpool" movies.

Ryan DID play Deadpool in"X-Men Origins: Wolverine"in 2009, but everybody hated that version.

Fans Petition To Get Johnny Depp Back In “Pirates”: You may recall that “Pirates Of The Caribbean” franchise is moving on without Johnny Depp. 

Well, fans aren’t happy about that. So, they’ve launched an online petition to get the actor signed back on. There’s actually more than one going on at once, but one Change.org petition has already racked up almost 15,000 signatures at last count.
