The Rod Ryan Show has teamed up with Houston Boxer Rescue to bring you the featured dog of the week! Today is Priscilla:
"Hi. My name is Priscilla and I’m about 2 years old. A few weeks ago, I was turned into an animal shelter, where HBR found me, and now I’m looking for my forever home!
Before this, I lived in a cage and wasn’t able to go out, run, or even walk around. The humans who had me seemed to have wanted me because I could have puppies.
Despite my past, I’m doing really well! I am cautious, and I like to sit back and observe before I interact. But I’m also sweet, gentle, smart, and calm. Even though my life didn’t start out so well, I still know how to give and receive love, and I still know how to be part of a family.
Since I’m smart, I’ve learned to go potty outside and how to walk on a leash. I know how to sleep on a dog bed and I’m great around kids. I like to be petted and I’m learning how to play with toys."
