4. NEW MUSIC from Billy Corgan, Dirty Heads, and More!!!
• "Ogilala", William Patrick Corgan, better known as Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins. The new solo album is sort of his way of reimagining himself now that he's 50.
He gave himself over to the genius of super producer Rick Rubin for this album. You can check out the sound they came up with on the tracks "Aeronaut" and "The Spaniards".
He recorded two songs with Pumpkins guitarist James Iha. It's the first time they've recorded together in 17 years. One of the songs "Processional" made the album. The other one will be a B-side.
• "Masseduction", the fifth album by St. Vincent
• "Colors", the 13th album by Beck
• "Carry Fire", Robert Plant. Chrissie Hynde appears on a version of the old song "Bluebirds Over the Mountain".
• "Swim Team", the reggae band Dirty Heads.
