Everything You Need To Know About Harvey Weinstein

The allegations against Harvey Weinstein are piling on at a ridiculous rate

and the names are just getting bigger.  GWYNETH PALTROW and ANGELINA JOLIE now say they had run-ins with him in the '90s.

Gwyneth was 22 and had just been cast in the 1996 movie "Emma" when Harvey invited her to his hotel room.  It started like a typical business meeting, until Harvey suggested massages.

She refused, and told her then-boyfriend BRAD PITT about it.  Brad confronted Harvey at a movie premiere, and told him never to touch her again.  But all that did was make Harvey go off on Gwyneth.

She says, quote, "He screamed at me for a long time.  It was brutal, I thought he was going to fire me."  Of course he didn't, and a few years later, she was an Oscar winner for "Shakespeare in Love", which was made by Harvey's company Miramax.

Gwyneth says Harvey was, quote, "alternately generous and supportive and championing, and punitive and bullying."

Angelina's story takes place around the time that her movie "Playing by Heart" came out in 1998. Once again, in a hotel room.  She didn't give any details, though.

She said, quote, "I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did.  This behavior towards women in any field, any country, is unacceptable."

ROSANNA ARQUETTE has a similar story. She says Harvey grabbed her hand and pulled it toward his crotch.  She didn't go along, and the part she was supposed to be there to talk to him about went to somebody else.

And MIRA SORVINO says he chased her around a hotel room during the Toronto Film Festival 20 years ago.

This is all from a "New York Times" piece where several other, less famous, women tell their Harvey horror stories.

It gets worse, if you can believe it. Three women have told the "New Yorker" that Harvey RAPED them. The most famous is Italian actress ASIA ARGENTO, who says Harvey forcibly performed oral sex on her.

But like a lot of women, she was afraid to come forward.  Quote, "I know he has crushed a lot of people before.  That's why this story in my case, it's twenty years old;  some of them are older has never come out."

Asia wrote, directed and starred in a movie in 1999 called "Scarlet Diva", where her character gets raped by a producer.  And yes, it was about Harvey.

In 2015, an NYPD sting operation caught Harvey ON TAPE trying to coerce a woman into his hotel room, and basically admitting that he'd groped her breast the day before. Prosecutors decided they didn't have enough evidence to bring charges.

Harvey said his wife was 100% behind him. He was wrong. Georgina Chapman announced yesterday that she's leaving him.  And she said, quote, "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions."

Harvey Weinstein has been a huge contributor to liberal causes and Democratic politicians, including BARACK OBAMA and the CLINTONS.  So they couldn't remain silent on this.

Obama and his wife MICHELLE said they're "disgusted" by it, and praised the women who are coming forward.  As you may know, their daughter Malia interned for Harvey as a script reader.

And Hillary said she was "shocked and appalled".

MATT DAMON says he did NOT knowingly try to tamp down a sexual harassment story about Harvey in 2004.  And he claims he never saw that kind of behavior when he worked with him.  And BEN AFFLECK says he's "saddened and angry" and sickened by what's coming out about Harvey.

But ROSE MCGOWAN says Ben DID know because she told him what Harvey did to her, and his response was, quote, "[Gosh darn] it!  I told him to stop doing that!"

CHARLIZE THERON never had an issue with Harvey, but she's not surprised.

Talk about an open secret, Back in 2013, SETH MACFARLANE made a Harvey Weinstein joke while announcing the Oscar nominees.

If you're not taken there automatically, skip ahead to the 3-minute mark

Sources say Harvey thinks his brother BOB sold him out to the "New York Times" to get him ousted from their company.  Meanwhile, Bob called Harvey, quote, "a very sick man."

But at least Harvey is supposedly on his way to some kind of "residential treatment facility" in Europe.

Both Rob Schneider and Terry Crews claim to have been sexually harassed by male movie execs.  In Rob's case, it was a "very famous director" who's no longer with us.
