A Florida man was kicked off a United Airlines flight yesterday after choosing to wear a pair red women's underwear as a face mask. According to Fox 4 in Southwest Florida, this wasn't the first time he's gone with an unorthodox face covering. Adam Jenne of Cape Coral, FL told the station that he thinks the mask policy is silly and argues that his red thong complies with TSA guidelines by covering his nose and mouth.
The staff on his flight did not agree and told Jenne that he would have to leave the plane. He says that several other passengers walked off the plane in support of him. He's currently banned from United flights until his case is reviewed by their Passenger Incident Review Committee.
Jenne has previously been kicked off a Delta flight for wearing underwear as a mask.
