Post Malone will be playing a set of Nirvana covers on his YouTube livestream event benefiting COVID-19 relief.
According to Consequence of Sound, “Stay Home and Jam #WithMe” is happening this Friday at 5pm CST and the plan is to feature a selection of “Nirvana hits and fan favorites.”
Proceeds will benefit The United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for The World Health Organization (WHO) in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Fans will be able to make donations to the UN Foundation in real time by using a “DONATE” button on the top right-hand side of the screen. Google.org will be matching all donations at a 2:1 rate, up to $5 Million, with all proceeds going to the UN Foundation.
Malone has been known to cover Nirvana at his live shows in the past. Check out video below of him doing "All Apologies".
