via The Sun, 'A DOMINO’S staff member drew a terror attack on a shocked customer’s pizza box as a “joke”.
Michael Thorman, 19, from Newburn, Tyne and Wear, asked for something funny to be written on his takeaway through the online system – a growing trend where customers then share the image on social media.
The couple were watching the One Love Manchester concert on the TV when they ordered the takeaway treat from the Blaydon branch of the pizza chain.
The concert raised funds for the families of the 22 people killed in the Manchester Bombing on May 22 and was broadcast just one day after eight people were killed, 48 others injured, in a terror attack on London Bridge.
“The other box had a picture of two pizzas fighting, then I saw (the 9/11 sketch) and thought ‘That’s a bit much given the timing and everything that has just happened’.”
The plumbing apprentice complained on the firm’s Facebook page about the sick joke.'
