Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame Inductees To Be Revealed On "American Idol"

The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be announced live this Sunday on “American Idol” on ABC! Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie will making the announcement, which will air at 8PM Eastern.

Eligible nominees must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before the nomination. Nominees this year include Mariah CareyCherOzzy Osbourne, and Sade.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024 Induction Ceremony will take place in Cleveland in the fall…with more details set to be announced later. The 2024 ceremony will stream on Disney+, and then a special airing will broadcast on ABC at a later date…and be available on Hulu the day after.

Journey's "Greatest Hits" Spends Its 800th Week on the Billboard 200 

 

 

Journey's "Greatest Hits" album just hit 800 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. That's 15 years and almost four months. 

 

 

The album first debuted on the chart in December of 1988. 

 

 

Only two others have done this.  Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" reached it in 2012, and Bob Marley's "Legend" did it last September.

 

 

Here are the Top 5 longest-charting albums:

 

 

1.  "Dark Side of the Moon",  Pink Floyd: 989 weeks

 

2.  "Legend",  Bob Marley: 830 weeks

 

3.  "Greatest Hits",  Journey: 800 weeks
