Dave Grohl Joins Beck At Benefit Show

In one of his first public appearances since the death of Taylor Hawkins in March, Dave Grohl joined Beck at the Largo theater in Los Angeles to sing the guitar riff of the Seals and Croft classic “Summer Breeze.” The Foo Fighter frontman walked out while Beck performed the song with Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D, producer Greg Kurstin, and actor-musician John C. Reilley.

The performance was part of a benefit show organized by Judd Apatow for Victims First, an organization that helps victims and communities after mass casualty crimes. It’s part of a series of benefits Apatow is organizing at the Largo, which has a capacity of 280.
