Coldplay Shares 10-Minute Song From New Album

Coldplay is giving fans a lengthy preview of their new album “Music of the Spheres.” The band has dropped an epic ten-minute track, “Coloratura.”

The spacey track doesn’t veer too far from the sound Coldplay fans know and love, complete with dreamy vocals and piano. However, it does explore a new, almost Pink Floyd-inspired prog-rock side to the band.

“Music of the Spheres” is due for release on October 15th and can be pre-ordered HERECheck out the song to the right.

Foo Fighters Tie With Cage The Elephant For Billboard Chart Record

Foo Fighters have made the Top 10 of Billboard’s Rock and Alternative Airplay chart for the 13th time in the chart’s history, thanks to their song “Making A Fire” off of their latest album “Medicine At Midnight.” The song jumped to the eighth spot on the chart dated July 24th.

That ties the Foos with Cage The Elephant for the most Top 10 songs on the chart. Shinedown and Twenty One Pilots are on their heels with 12 Top 10 entries.

Liz Phair Pulls Out Of Alanis Morissette Tour

Liz Phair won’t be touring with Alanis Morissette and Garbage this year, after all. She’s pulled out of the “Jagged Little Pill” 25th-anniversary tour, which kicks off on August 12th in Austin, Texas.

“Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, I won’t be able to join Alanis & Garbage on tour this summer,” the singer-songwriter writes on Twitter. “I’m incredibly disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing all of your beautiful faces.”
