Metallica's Kirk Hammet's Signed Guitar Sells At Auction
Do you remember the guitar used by Kirk Hammett in Metallica's music video for their hit "One"? Well, it just sold at auction on Sunday for $112,500 to an anonymous buyer.
The guitar, which was auctioned through Heritage Auctions, comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and in its original case. Hammett's signature is signed in silver ink at the bottom on the natural solid body of the guitar.

Dave Grohl & Foo Fighters Announce "What Drives Us" Documentary
Directed by Dave Grohl and produced by Foo Fighters, "What Drives Us" is a feature-length documentary that is coming out on Friday, April 30. It will be available in the United States via The Coda Collection and elsewhere through Amazon Prime Video.
The trailer for the documentary has been released and includes interviews with Steven Tyler, Ringo Starr, Annie Clark, The Edge, Ian Mackaye, and more.
Press materials regarding the film sums up the plot by saying:
“The film explores what it takes to turn a van into a home, and how the tricks of this trade have been handed down through the decades. There was a time before the digital age when players had to take the music to the people one show, one overnight drive, one dilapidated little club at a time. While the world has changed, the rite of passage has not. There is no other first step on the path to making it in music. You have to get in the van.”
Grohl also describes it as his "love letter to every musician that has ever jumped in an old van with their friends and left it all behind for the simple reward of playing music." Check out the trailer to the right.
