Marilyn Manson Allegations Aren’t New… It’s Just No One Acted

Marilyn Manson has been accused of abuse by multiple of his former partners, including Evan Rachel Wood. The claims are being backed up and the women speaking out are cheered on by celebs including another of his exes, Rose McGowan.

And while the performer is starting to pay the price now - losing everything from records deals to acting gigs and even his representation - it turns out the allegations aren’t really news – it’s just that no one's done anything about it.

In fact, Manson himself has been pretty open about the...um...dysfunctional states of his past relationships not only in his music, but in interviews about his music.

·In his 2009 interview with “Spin” magazine, shortly after his breakup with Wood, Manson said he called Wood 158 times while self-mutilating so he could “show her the pain she put me through.”

·He also told the magazine he fantasized about murdering her “every day,” pointing to his song “I Want You To Kill Me Like They Do In The Movies.”

Meanwhile, several more women have come forward with stories of Manson’s alleged abuse, as highlighted on Wood’s Instagram stories. That includes former porn star Jenna Jameson, who says she dumped Manson because he became more violent with her… like fantasizing about “burning [her] alive.”

Metallica Performing “Colbert” Superbowl Edition

Metallica is ready to rock Super Bowl weekend… well, the Super Bowl edition of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” that is.

Metallica has announced the TV appearance on social media. They’ll celebrate the Big Game with Colbert on “The Late Show” on Sunday at 11:35 pm ET.

Metallica has yet to play the halftime show, although fans have rallied them to hit the stage. This year, The Weeknd will perform… and as we reported separately, Green Day will play the “NFL Honors” ceremony on Saturday night.

This Is What It Sounds Like When an Unborn Baby Records an Album

LUCA YUPANQUI has a new album coming out on April 2nd. You say you've never heard of Luca Yupanqui? Well, I'm not surprised, since she WASN'T EVEN BORN when she recorded it. (???)

The album is called "Sounds of the Unborn", and Luca's parents recorded it by using "biosonic MIDI technology" that translated her in utero movements into sound.

After recording for five hours, Luca's parents, quote, "edited and mixed the results of the sessions, respecting the sounds as they were produced, trying to intervene as little as possible, allowing Luca's message to exist in its raw form."

Luca is an infant now, and she sat in on those mixing sessions. And supposedly, her reaction to the sounds made it clear that she knew what she was hearing, because, quote, "she had already lived it." (???)

(Check out a sample track here. And you can order the album from Sacred Bones Records.)
