If you dug a tunnel from New Zealand to the other side of the planet, you'd end up in Spain. So a college student in Auckland found someone to help him make an "Earth sandwich" with bread. They used GPS to find the exact coordinates and put slices of bread on the ground. Here he is talking about why he did it. (Fun Fact: If you're anywhere in the continental U.S., the opposite side of the planet is probably the Indian Ocean.)

A Woman Forgot to Roll Up Her Car Window Before the Canadian Blizzard
Here's another crazy story from Canada's record-breaking snowfall. A woman forgot to close one of her car's windows and came out the next day to find snow blanketing the interior.
Someone filmed her at the car doing a "report" about it. There's so much snow inside she can barely squeeze into the driver's seat.
