Radiation Is Detected At The Start of The Japan Olympics Torch Relay - Radiation has reportedly been detected near the starting point of the upcoming Olympic torch relay in Japan.
Tokyo will host the 2020 Summer Games in July, and the Japanese government was planning to start the torch relay in Fukushima, to showcase the city's recovery from a 2011 nuclear disaster. However, Greenpeace has detected radiation hotspots near the starting point.
Japan's environmental ministry has said the area, which houses the Olympic village for athletes, was "generally" safe, but Greenpeace is urging fresh radiation monitoring and continued cleanup efforts at the site.

Couple Uses Potato Gun To Launch Drugs Into Prison - One Canadian couple gets an A+ for creativity after using a potato cannon to deliver drugs.
The unfortunate thing is, they delivered the contraband to a jail and got caught. Authorities caught the 28-year-old woman and 18-year-old man outside of Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre with the pipe-based cannon that uses air pressure to fire. Officers also recovered 28 grams of marijuana, three grams of cannabis shatter and seven grams of crystal meth in the van they tried to use to flee before crashing into three police vehicles.
The duo faces several charges including trafficking crystal meth and distributing cannabis to an institution.

TikTok Admits To Hiding Posts By Disabled, Gay And Overweight Users - The social network video app TikTok is admitting it blocked the reach of videos created by users assumed to be vulnerable to cyberbullying.
A German site exposed the fact that TikTok limited the reach of content created by users whose bios included hashtags like #fatwoman and #disabled, or had rainbow flags or other LGBTQ identifiers. leaked documents from the Chinese owned video site said people deemed "susceptible to harassment or cyberbullying based on their physical or mental condition" were hidden from feeds.
Not only that, but people with facial disfigurements, autism and Down syndrome were also affected.
In response to the story, TikTok spokesperson said "While the intention was good, it became clear that the approach was wrong and we have since removed the policy.” They didn’t say when the bad idea was stopped.
