The "Get Him a Body Bag" Guy from "The Karate Kid" Passed Away

We have an ironic death to report this morning. ROBERT GARRISON from the original "Karate Kid"died Friday morning. He was only 59 years old, but he'd been battling kidney and liver issues.

Garrison played one of the bad kids from the evil Cobra Kai dojo . . . and he's the one who delivered the immortal line, "Get him a body bag! Yeah!"

Robert's character Tommy was brought back for YouTube's "Cobra Kai" series. He died during a camping trip in season two, and the scene ends with him being zipped up in a body bag.

WILLIAM ZABKA played Johnny, the top dog of the Cobra Kai, and he posted a tribute to Garrison, calling him "a beautiful soul and an incredibly gifted actor."

The controversy over "The Joker" rages on

The controversy over Todd Phillips upcoming “Joker” movie starring Joaquin Phoenix continues. As critics worry that the movie could is “dangerous” and could insight violence, like the 2012 mass shooting at a screening of “The Dark Knight Rises,” theaters are beefing up their security.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has released a statement confirming that they’re adding security at their theaters for the Warner Bros flick’s opening weekend. Regal Cinemas is also aware of the controversy and says they’re “in regular contact with law enforcement” for potential security protocol, although they “do not believe the content or existence of any movie is a cause or signal for violence.”

Meanwhile, as conversation around the movie’s potential danger continues, Phoenix and Phillips aren’t taking any more questions. We previously reported that they bashed the controversy, saying that people should just see the movie before making any judgments. During a recent interview with The TelegraphPhoenix walked out when asked if he thinks the movie could set off a so-called “unstable, self-pitying loner with a mass-shooter mindset”... and Warner Bros canceled interviews altogether at the Los Angeles premiere this weekend.
