Most people think the Long Island Iced Tea was invented on Long Island, New York.
But there's a Long Island in Kingsport, Tennessee, and they say THEY invented the Long Island Iced Tea. Although theirs is slightly different, and has maple syrup instead of coke. Anyway, there was a competition last weekend between New York and Tennessee to see who makes the best one, and Tennessee won. Now the New York team wants an investigation, and says the judges were biased and the competition was rigged.
