The Rod Ryan Show has teamed up with Houston Boxer Rescue to bring you the featured dog of the week! Today is Optimus
My name is Optimus Prime, but you can call me OPTIMUS. Just like my namesake, the awe-inspiring leader of the Autobot forces, I’m an awesome guy, selfless and endlessly courageous, and always ready to protect and save the world! Somehow I ended up in a shelter and Houston Boxer Rescue was kind enough to see my value and rescued me.
I'm in a great foster home now and my foster mom says I’m wonderful and very smart. I love to be around my people and I’m great with kids, but will go into my kennel when I need to. I also love to go outside and I even sit patiently at the door and wait for you to open it! I play great with all the other dogs too. Foster mom says I need a little training on my leash but I’m getting there! I’m still a bit of a puppy so that means I need some help in some areas. I understand what no means and I’m learning all about house training and I’m doing pretty good, just keep your eye on me and you will see the “signs” that I need to go out. I also love to snuggle and give lots of kisses.
