“Dark Knight” Trilogy Returning To Theaters For Batman’s 80th Anniversary

·

·Batman is turning 80 this month

·Warner Bros and DC has big plans to celebrate

·Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy is coming back to theaters

Well, Batman is turning 80 on March 30th. Warner Bros and DC have some big plans to celebrate the anniversary, too – besides Batman bashes at Six Flags in August, the #LongLiveTheBat hashtag offering fans exclusive merch, and more Batman-themed campaigns, the “Dark Knight” trilogy is coming back to theaters.

All three of Christopher Nolan’s takes on the superhero – “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” and “The Dark Knight Rises” – will screen back-to-back in select cities across North America (because everyone knows Christian Bale and Heath Ledger made the best Batman and Joker, am I right?). Here’s where and when they’re happening:

·March 30th: Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk – Hollywood, California

·April 13th: AMC Lincoln Square – New York City

·April 13th: AMC Metreon – San Francisco, California

·April 20th: Cinesphere Ontario Place – Toronto, Ontario

·April 20th: Imax Theatre at the Indiana State Museum – Indianapolis, Indiana

Nolan himself will be at the Hollywood screening for a Q&A, and taped footage of the Q&A will be broadcast during the screenings in the other cities. Tickets are on sale starting today at Noon ET.
