Ferrari has officially entered the EV era with the debut of the Luce, a fully electric luxury vehicle designed with help from former Apple design chief Jony Ive and his LoveFrom team.
The sleek five-seater, priced around $640-thousand, blends Ferrari’s signature performance with family-friendly touches like roomy seating, high-end tech, and a large trunk, while still delivering more than 1,000 horsepower and a top speed above 190 mph.
Ferrari says the Luce keeps the emotional feel of its gas-powered icons by amplifying natural EV vibrations, even as the company bets that younger luxury buyers will embrace a more high-tech future.
The futuristic design also signals a major style shift for the brand, with a larger body, expansive glass features, and a more refined interior packed with leather, aluminum, and physical controls instead of oversized touchscreens.
