One Expert Thinks A.I. Will Reduce Workweeks to 3.5 Days

There's been a lot of talk about A.I. putting people out of work . . . but what if that's NOT unemployment . . . it's just more days off?

 

 

One expert . . . JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon . . . said in an interview recently that he thinks artificial intelligence could reduce the average workweek from five days a week to 3.5.

 

 

So maybe you work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and go in for a half-day on Thursday and then head off for a three-and-a-half day weekend.

 

 

This isn't imminent though. He said it could be "30 years from now." The implication would be that you'd still get a similar salary . . . but obviously, that sounds optimistic.
