Soundgarden Stages Near-Reunion

It was a rare reunion for the surviving members of Soundgarden over the weekend. The group disbanded after the death of Chris Cornell in 2017, but on Saturday they took the stage at the Showbox in Seattle for the 13th annual SMooCH benefit for the Seattle Children’s Hospital. Guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist-vocalist Ben Shepherd, and drummer-vocalist Matt Cameron were joined by Shaina Shepherd for a six-song set that also featured vocals from Duff McKagan. The “Nudedragons” performance was the first time the name has been used by the group since Soundgarden launched its reunion under that name in 2010.

Have You Heard Jelly Roll's Tom Petty Track with Snoop Dogg?

Snoop Dogg just put out a new album called "Missionary", and it features a track called "Last Dance with Mary Jane", which contains a sample of "Mary Jane's Last Dance", by Tom Petty.

Snoop's version includes vocals from the late Tom Petty, as well as Jelly Roll. Like the track or not, Jelly's verse is cool.

Last month, Snoop described his Petty track as a "weed song." But Tom once claimed that his song was NOT about pot . . . and that it was literally about a girl named Mary Jane. Though that's kinda hard to believe.

Fred Durst would like you to know that Limp Bizkit's "Nookie" is a much deeper and more sensitive song than you think it is.

There's a Fun Easter Egg If You Google Shaboozey's Name

Have you googled Shaboozey's name lately? They added a fun Easter egg where the whole page gets "tipsy."

It rocks back and forth for a few seconds, like you're drunk . . . a nod to his hit track, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."

It's not clear what prompted them to add it, but he just won three Billboard Music Awards on Thursday.

The song spent 19 weeks at #1 this year, tying the record set by "Old Town Road" in 2019.

U2's Drummer Has "Math Dyslexia"?

How do you keep time when you can't even COUNT? Just ask U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr., because he's been doing it all his life.

Larry recently found out he has a condition called dyscalculia . . . which is also known as "math dyslexia".

He says, quote, "I've always known that there's something not particularly right with the way that I deal with numbers. I'm numerically challenged . . . I can't count [and] I can't add."

That explains why he often looks MISERABLE behind the kit. Quote, "I am pained because I'm trying to count the bars. I had to find ways of doing this . . . and counting bars is like climbing Everest."
