Well, this'll put a damper on Christmas: Conan O'Brien lost both of his parents last week . . . within three days of each other.
Conan's father, Dr. Thomas O'Brien, died on Monday at the age of 95. All we know is that, quote, "his health had been failing."
Then Conan's mother, Ruth Reardon O'Brien, passed on Thursday. She was 92.
Thomas graduated from Harvard Medical School, and Ruth graduated from Yale Law School. They got married in 1958. In addition to Conan, they had three other sons, two daughters, and nine grandchildren.
