Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs' suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's (October 27) win against the Indianapolis Colts and will miss the remainder of the 2024 NFL season, head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters on Tuesday (October 29) via ESPN.

Diggs suffered the injury during a non-contact play, having recorded six receptions for 33 yards before exiting the game.

"A big loss: Texans WR Stefon Diggs suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday vs. the [Indianapolis] Colts," ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

Diggs was acquired by the Texans in a trade with the Buffalo Bills this past offseason, which included the Texans getting rid of the final three years of his contract, potentially allowing him to test free agency next offseason.

Diggs recorded 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns during his eight games with the Texans. The former Maryland standout was a four-time Pro Bowler, a Second-team All-Pro in 2022, and a First-team All-Pro in 2020, having led the NFL in receptions and receiving yards that same season.

Diggs has recorded 857 receptions for 10,491 yards and 70 touchdowns during his 10-year NFL career, which also included a five-year stint with the Minnesota Vikings prior to being traded to the Bills in 2020.
