How to Time Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" Closing Line with...

There's no better way to celebrate today's total solar eclipse than with Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon."

Imagine listening to the closing line, "And everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon," as it's LITERALLY happening. All it takes is just a little bit of timing.

To figure out what time to expect the eclipse in your location, head over to NASA.com.

If you're using Spotify, you'll want to start the album 41 minutes and 53 seconds before the start of the eclipse.

For example, if you're in the EASTERN time zone, you'll want to start the album at 2:32:21p.m. The eclipse is expected to start at 3:14:14 p.m.

If you don't feel like listening to the entire album, you can just start the last song, "Eclipse," 70 seconds before.

It's worth mentioning that if you're playing it on CD or vinyl, the total run time MIGHT be a little different, so you might want to double-check.
