In the era of sequels and reboots, this news might not be TOO surprising. Adam Sandler is reportedly working on a script for "Happy Gilmore 2". The first film came out in 1996.
Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter McGavin, says Adam showed him the first draft of the script a few weeks ago.
Quote, "[Adam] says, 'McDonald, you're gonna love this' . . . I thought, 'Wow, that would be awesome.' So it's in the works. Fans, demand it, damn it!"
It's unclear if it's part of Adam's deal with Netflix. The platform declined to comment.
