Things are actually going okay for the guy who was brave enough to let Elon Musk put that Neuralink chip in his brain.
His name is Noland Arbaugh. He's 29 years old, and he's a quadriplegic, thanks to a diving accident.
But thanks to Neuralink, he can actually move a cursor WITH HIS BRAIN. They posted a video yesterday of Noland playing computer chess.
Noland is super-stoked, and feels really lucky to have been chosen for the experiment. And he says he's learning new things every day.
He added, quote, "The surgery was super easy. I literally was released from the hospital a day later. I have no cognitive impairments."
Also, he's thinking about being Professor X for Halloween this year. Which is kind of a NO-BRAINER, if you'll pardon the pun.
