New Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes Are Here At IHOP
IHOP has just introduced their latest pancake of the month in time for Girl Scout cookie season – Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes.
The new Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes feature four green buttermilk pancakes topped with cheesecake mousse, Girl Scout Thin Mints Pieces, and whipped topping. They’re part of IHOP’s Pancake of the Month Program where a new IHOP flavor combination will be available as a full stack, side, or part of a pancake combo for the entire month.
There’s also an incentive to try all of the Pancake of the Month flavors with the annual loyalty challenge from IHOP. Here are the benefits:
- Earn 10 PanCoins by ordering the Pancake of the Month two or more times in the month.
- Earn 100 bonus PanCoins by ordering the Pancake of the Month at least once each month for the entire year. These 100 PanCoins can get you 33 Short Stacks, 20 Full Stacks, or 12 free kids’ meals, one for each month in 2025.
- The new Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes are available now through March 31 at participating IHOP locations nationwide.

Why Five Guys Charge So Much For Their Burgers And Fries And Is Criticized For Out of Control Prices
Five Guys is a chain known for its delicious burgers, fries, and even hot dogs, but prices for their food have gotten really expensive which has caused a big backlash with customers citing their ‘out of control’ prices.
One customer’s recent receipt from the restaurant showed the following charges:
- Bacon Cheeseburger $12.49
- Regular Soda $2.89
- Little Fry $5.19
- Sales Tax $1.34
- Order Total $21.91
- Tip $2.19
- TOTAL $24.10
Some comments about these prices were “Fast food becoming a luxury meal is a sign of the times”, “$5 for a small fry is highway robbery. It’s literally just a potato and some salt” and “Five Guys was always overpriced. Same meal was $15 ten years ago.”
One customer countered by saying that Five Guys was actually a better deal because “You get free drinks refills, you get an extra scoop of fries for free, you get free peanuts. All the toppings on the burger are entirely free, regardless of how many of them you want.”
Finally, Jerry Murrell, Five Guys' CEO said “We raise our prices to reflect whatever our food costs are. So, if the mayonnaise guy triples his price, we pay triple for the mayonnaise! And then we’ll increase the price of our product.” So there you have it straight from the customers and Five Guys management.

Eating Carbs Makes You Uglier Within Two Hours
Did you have a donut this morning? This might be hard news, but you're a little uglier than when you woke up.
A study in France found refined carbohydrates make us noticeably less attractive within two hours of eating them.
That includes things like donuts, bagels, pancakes, muffins, white bread, and sugary cereals.
Researchers had volunteers rate how attractive people's faces were before and after they had breakfast. Some ate "healthy" foods, and others ate things that were carb-heavy.
The people who ate carbs were seen as significantly less attractive two hours later. They're not sure why, but it was true for men and women.
