Two Kids Just Got the First Scholarships to Play Division-1 Cornhole

This almost makes me want to go back to school . . .

Two kids from Colorado were just awarded the first-ever athletic scholarship to play division-1 CORNHOLE.

Their names are Jaxson Remmick and Gavin Hamann. They went to ThunderRidge High School near Denver . . . which has a strong cornhole program, I guess.

They're obviously cornhole prodigies. They won the first ever High School Championship together in 2021, and then another one a year later.

On National Signing Day last week, they signed letters of intent to play D-1 cornhole for Winthrop University in South Carolina.

The school hasn't said how much the scholarship is for, but it's not a full ride. Their new coach at Winthrop thinks full-ride scholarships for cornhole could happen eventually though.
