This Just In: You Don't Need to Change Your Underwear Every Day

It seems like there's an entire wing of science devoted to reminding people NOT to be disgusting: Wash your hands . . . change your sheets . . . shower regularly . . . don't eat Taco Bell. So THIS is strange.

Several "top dermatologists" are now saying that men DON'T need to change their underwear every day.

One doctor says, "In situations with minimal activity and no sweating, changing every other day may be acceptable. Men's looser-fitting [underwear] styles, like boxers, may also allow for slightly longer wear."

Unfortunately, women don't get the same pass . . . their underwear is typically more tight-fitting . . . and because of the way their anatomy is set-up down there, they're more vulnerable to infections if they don't refresh their underwear.

That said, dermatologists still suggest that you change your underwear at least once a day anyway to minimize the risks of infections.

 And maybe even MORE than once a day if it's hot . . . you're active . . . and you're sweating a lot.
